Principle of operation
Laser beams and blue and red light are used to target the fungus that causes nail infections. The 905 nm laser technology of nail fungus devices uses diodes of different light wavelengths: 660 nm red light, 470 nm blue light and 905 nm pulsed laser. The light penetrates the nail plate and mechanically damages the fungal cell wall. The temperature of the nail plate rises to 43-51 degrees Celsius and injures the fungal cells.
